Dr. Tiffany Llewellyn, DSW, LCSW-C

Dr. Tiffany Llewellyn is a migrant of Trinidad & Tobago. She is a Certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker, employed at Johns Hopkins University Counseling Center where she provides clinical treatment and coordinates services for first generation-limited income students. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Medgar Evers College,Master Of Science in Social Work at Hunter College, with a specialization in Children, Youth and Families and her Doctor of Social Work degree at the University of Southern California with a specialization in Achieving Equal Justice and Opportunity. Tiffany has extensive experience in the social services sector, working with juvenile offenders in the community and schools. She previously created the Community Neighborhood Engagement Team (CNET)at the Yale Child Study Center to improve community relationships, train local schools administrators on managing behavioral challenges in the classroom, and create effective ways to increase mental health services in communities of color. In addition to external community work, Tiffany is active in her faith denomination where she regularly conducts seminars on mental health, family dynamics, social justice, and youth development. She is the President and Founder of the faith based nonprofit organization, Adventists for Social Justice, a movement focused on developing faith based churches for activism in marginalized communities. Tiffany considers herself a change agent purposed by God, to work with vulnerable populations considered “irredeemable” to fulfill their purpose, navigate obstacles, and increase access to resources that directly impact quality of life. Her favorite quote is "I am human, let nothing human be alien to me.”
