James Doggette Jr.

James Doggette, Jr., is a Ph.D. student studying organizational leadership. He has 14+ years of pastoral experience and is a dynamic and highly motivated professional in pastoral care, clinical chaplaincy, and teaching ministry. Pastor JD is a relentless optimist who believes in challenging the status quo, and changing the direction of this world. He suggests God created us to dream with a reckless abandon. His goal is to help people find their power place, and live a God-Sized life. He was employed by the United States Congress as pastoral liaison to the office of Congreswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee. He authored a 90-day devotional entitled, A Standing Ovation. Currently, he is the Senior Pastor of the First SDA Church of Riviera Beach and the Deerfied Beach SDA Church in South Florida where he is entrusted with spiritual empowerment and leading community development efforts that equip individuals with relevant life skills. He is married to his college sweetheart, Demia. They have two children; a daughter, Noa Lillie, and a son, James Doggette, III.
