Educator, lecturer, executive, writer, Mrs. Bethune was chosen a few years ago as one of the fifty greatest living American women, and on that list she stood twelfth; but doubtless her greatest claim to fame will be in the field of her chosen profession—education, for there she has made a contribution to the Race which deservedly ranks her with Booker T. Washington.
