BOOKS

Not A Fan, by Kyle IdlemanZondervan

This book is for everyone who claims to follow Christ. It gives great insight to individuals regarding their level of commitment to following Christ. Idleman shares this point that I found to be powerful: “The biggest threat to the church today is fans who call themselves Christians, but aren’t actually interested in following Christ. They want to be close enough to Jesus to get all the benefits, but not so close that it requires anything from them.”

Music

Ricky Dillard and New Generation are back for Dillard’s 10th project in 25 years of music ministry, aptly titled “10” for Entertainment One Music. Cuts “Any Day Now” featuring BeBe Winans, and “I Survived It” preach hope and perseverance.

New artist Sherwin Gardner’s debut album “Greater”—find it on Amazon Music—streams praise and worship to listeners. He proclaims to his God that it is “Because of You,” that he can breathe, sing, live and lift his hands! His praise to God invites hearts to do the same.

Apps

Kahoot is a great app for making learning, and teaching fun. Create quizzes or Bible Trivia games through this platform. Give other players a personal identification number (PIN) and they can play in the same room or even from a distance. This is a cool family fun feature.
