On Thursday, May 13th we welcomed Dr. Seanna-Kaye Denham-Wilks, Professor and Chief Experience Officer for the New York City Health & Hospitals system in Kings County. Given, that May is Mental Health Awareness month, we discuss the importance and aversion of mental healthcare for African Americans. We also discuss finding an effective counselor, identifying help-seeking behavior, and how parents can care for children and teens struggling with various emotional crises.
